Pizza Burger

Ingredients

1 lb. ground beef
1 egg
1 cup gluten free breadcrumbs
1 Tbs oregano
1 Tbs basil
1 tsp salt
1 tsp pepper
1 cup Francesco Rinaldi® “Traditional” Marinara Pasta Sauce
½ cup shredded mozzarella (For a healthier version use reduced fat cheese)
Turkey pepperoni slices, as desired
4 gluten free hamburger rolls

Directions

Preheat oven to 350°F. Combine ground beef, egg, gluten free breadcrumbs, oregano, basil, salt and pepper in a bowl and mix well. Evenly divide beef mixture into four patties of desired thickness and grill in a pan until cooked to your liking. Split the gluten free buns. In a baking pan, place each cooked patty on the bottom half of a bun. Top each burger patty with marinara sauce and desired amount of pepperoni and cheese. Place into oven and bake until cheese is melted. Remove from oven, top with other half of bun and serve. (Serves: 4)
