Slow Cooker Pepper Steak

It’s a super busy time of year–back to school!  Throw some supper in your slow cooker and let it do the work for you!

Slow-Cooker Pepper Steak

Ingredients

2 pounds beef sirloin, cut into 2 inch strips
Garlic powder to taste
3 Tbs vegetable oil
1 packet Herb Ox® Beef Bouillon Granules
¼ cup hot water
2 Tbs cornstarch
½ cup onion, chopped
2 large green bell peppers, sliced
1 (14.5 oz) can stewed tomatoes, undrained
3 Tbs KIKKOMAN Gluten-free Soy Sauce
1 tsp granulated sugarh

Directions

Sprinkle strips of sirloin with garlic powder to taste. In a large skillet over medium heat, heat the vegetable oil and brown the seasoned beef strips. Transfer to a slow cooker. Mix bouillon granules with hot water until dissolved, then whisk in cornstarch until dissolved. Pour into the slow cooker with meat. Stir in onion, green peppers, stewed tomatoes, soy sauce and sugar. Cover, and cook on HIGH for 3-4 hours or on LOW for 6-8 hours. Serve over cooked rice. (Serves: 6)
