History and Services of AAE

Kris and Brandi Shinn feel that Above All Else is a calling, not a job.  It is their heart and their mission to reach every parent, child, teacher, therapist or caregiver of a special needs child.

Above All Else Educational Services was founded in 2000 by Brandi Shinn and has served school districts, educational cooperatives, agencies, facilities, preschools and families since that time. In 2005, Brandi left her teaching job to run her business full time.  With the business continuing to grow, in 2009 it became incorporated and is recognized by the federal government as “Above All Else Inc.”

With autism being on the rise as well as behavioral issues, Brandi decided to expand the business by adding additional services. In order to accommodate these new services, Kris came on board leaving his full time job to work at Above All Else as a Certified Professional Crisis Management trainer and a Behavior Tools Instructor. Together Kris and Brandi make a great husband and wife team.  In addition to their educational backgrounds and experience, they are the proud parents of two teenage girls, a teenage son with autism and infant boy/girl twins providing them with extensive real life training.
